About Lighthouse 153

Join the team behind Red Lion’s newest seafood spot! Lighthouse 153 brings fresh, coastal-inspired flavors to the Franklin Street Social food hall. We’re passionate about great food, excellent service, and creating a welcoming place for the community to gather.

Position Overview

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Crew Member to help us deliver exceptional food and friendly service in a fast-paced food hall environment. If you thrive in the kitchen and enjoy interacting with guests, this is the role for you. (Part-time and Full-time positions available)

What You’ll Do

• Provide friendly, high-level customer service at the counter, taking orders and assisting guests with menu questions.

• Accurately handle and count money, process payments, and balance the cash drawer as needed.

• Prepare food items by chopping, mixing, deep frying, steaming, toasting, and baking while following recipes and food safety standards.

• Plate and garnish dishes for consistent, high-quality presentation.

• Prepare beverages, refill soda dispensers.

• Keep the food stall clean and organized by washing dishes, sanitizing equipment, and maintaining safe work areas.

• Follow closing checklists to properly shut down and secure the restaurant at the end of each shift.

• Support team members and management with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Previous food service experience is a plus, but we provide training for the right candidate.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to stand for extended periods and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts. *Closed on Mondays

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

• Lift and carry up to 40 lbs (supplies, ice, ingredients).

• Frequently bend, reach, and stoop to access equipment and ingredients.

• Work comfortably in a warm kitchen environment around fryers, steamers, and other cooking equipment.

• Use knives, kitchen tools, and equipment safely and with manual dexterity.
